What I Do:
I provide bilingual accessibility consulting services specializing in 2012 Texas Accessibility Standards, Fair Housing Design Standards and ANSI ICC A117.1 - 2009 Standards.
I'm a bilingual Registered Accessibility Specialists (RAS) licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
I provide TAS/ADA/ANSI plan reviews, inspection services and site evaluations to ensure compliance. I work with construction companies, property management companies, facility managers, architects, civil engineers, and various design professionals throughout all phases of the construction process to ensure accessibility compliance. I assist non-compliant commercial buildings and facilities in achieving compliance with the TAS/ADA and ANSI Standards by innovating compliant design solutions.
I understand that every project is unique and the challenges of complying with the TAS/ADA and ANSI Standards. I'm here to help you and ensure your project follows these standards and is in full compliance.
While TAS and ADA the are not exactly the same thing TAS (Texas Accessibility Standards) has been certified as a reasonable substitute for ADA compliance, which means that it meets or exceeds the federal ADA Accessibility Guidelines. This means that if your project follows TAS, there shouldn't be any issues with ADAAG compliance.
Feel free to call me at 281-250-1514 if I can help in anyway. I'm based in Houston, Texas.
